Booking Information
There are several ways to make a booking. We recommend that you check our on-line calendar first to check availability.

Using the on-line calendar, make a booking (payment in full or 30% deposit/balance payable 1 month before).

Complete the form below and Rachel will email or message you back to answer any questions and/or to send bank transfer details if you prefer.

Email Rachel or give her a call/text on 07730 586601. Payment is required to confirm your booking. A confirmation email/text will then be sent with further information for you.
Please note the availability calendar will not allow you to book single night stays and the single nights available may not show up so you will need to phone Rachel directly if you wish to arrange a one night stay.
It was like being welcomed into someone’s home but with the space and privacy to really kick back and relax. Perfect.

CANCELLATION TERMS
We have a STRICT cancellation policy and recommend guests consider taking out travel insurance before booking to cover situations such as family emergencies and sickness. This includes both cancelling or postponing a visit.

If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before check-in then a charge equal to 10% of the stay will be made.

If the booking is cancelled more than 7 days before check-in then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.

If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before check-in or there is a no-show booking recution once the stay has started then a charge equal to 100% of the stay will be made.
Please note that should Fernwood Glamping need to cancel your booking through our own sickness or family emergency, we will provide a full refund on your booking.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Fernwood Glamping are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control.
Such circumstances shall include (but will not be limited to) war, terrorism, serious crime, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics (including Covid) or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.
We have security cameras around the house and the garage block. They will be on during your stay. There are no cameras near the shepherd's hut, summer house or compost toilets.

Fernwood Glamping
A unique glamping experience in the New Forest
The shepherd’s hut and the gypsy van both sleep 2 adults and 2 children (aged 4 -10 as bed length is 150cm).
2023 Rates:
Single night stay for two adults: £100 (£110 in high season)
Two nights or more: £80 per night
Summer Season (8th July - 10th September): two nights or more £90.00 per night.
Bank holidays: £90 per night
Additional children: £20 per child per night (sleeping bag with integral pillow included)
2024 Rates: Shepherds Hut
Single night stay for two adults: £100
Two nights or more: £80 per night
Summer Season (8th July - 10th September): two nights or more £90.00 per night.
Bank holidays: £90 per night
Additional children: £20 per child per night (sleeping bag with integral pillow included)
2024 Rates: Gypsy Van
Single night stay for two adults: £110
Two nights or more: £90 per night

Please note - we generally only accept two-night minimum stays during peak season (at the weekends / school holidays) and a three night minimum over bank holidays.
Check in time: 5 pm – 10 pm / Check out: 10 am
We can often be flexible about this and will message you to arrange a time once you have made a booking. Check-in/out times are likely to be more flexible in quieter times of the year, eg term time weekdays.
Please note:
No smoking inside
No dogs
No parties or events
No pup tents or additional camping
This is a quiet location for couples or families and we do ask that guests do not play music outside and are quiet after ten p.m.
It will be a memorable place to stay with your children but we do ask you to also think carefully about safety aspects (hot wood burner, unfenced pond and high deer hide).
Please do not smoke inside the hut or van and ensure that all cigarette butts are disposed of properly.
Please do not cook inside the hut or van. You may use disposable barbecues outside.
